Leslie is a friendly, energetic, and passionate educator who specializes in working with neurodivergent learners. Leslie views every child as unique and capable and is continually inspired by the strengths, perspectives, and lessons they bring to each session.

As a former Master Teacher with many years of classroom experience, Leslie has dedicated her career to helping children learn in ways that work best for them. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development and Learning, and completed the coursework for a Master’s degree in Elementary Education.

​

Leslie specializes in executive functioning coaching, writing, and middle school math. She helps students develop the organizational, planning, time-management, and study skills they need to become more independent and confident learners. Leslie also makes math approachable and engaging by tailoring instruction to each student's unique learning style and needs. Lastly, Leslie's approach to teaching writing systematically develops students' sentence, paragraph, and essay skills.

Leslie’s goal is to help every child build skills, confidence, and a love of learning while feeling understood, supported, and successful.

Kim is a friendly, patient, and compassionate Washington State Certified educator who is passionate about helping students discover their strengths and build confidence as learners. She has experience working with twice-exceptional (2e), gifted, and general education students and understands that every child learns differently. Kim believes in meeting students where they are and creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and growing.

With a strong background in literacy and foundational reading skills, Kim is dedicated to helping students close learning gaps while fostering a love of learning. She has worked with students in a variety of educational settings, both inside and outside the classroom, and enjoys finding creative ways to make learning engaging and meaningful.

Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from the University of North Texas and completed additional coursework through the Elementary Preparedness Program. She is committed to helping students develop the academic skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive both in school and beyond.

Tetsu is a dedicated and compassionate educator who is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their individual learning goals. He believes that every child can succeed when provided with the right support, encouragement, and learning environment.

Over the past several years, Tetsu has worked in a variety of educational settings within the Bellevue School District, serving as a teacher, student teacher, paraeducator, and general school assistant. Most recently, he worked as an Assistant Teacher at Bellevue Digital Discovery. His experience spans multiple elementary grade levels, and he has extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs through both individualized and small-group instruction.

Tetsu holds a bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Washington Bothell, a Washington State Teaching Certificate with endorsements in Elementary Education and Special Education, and a master's degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. His background in special education has given him valuable experience helping students develop academic skills, confidence, independence, and a positive mindset toward learning.

As a tutor, Tetsu strives to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating their progress. He enjoys partnering with families to help students reach their full potential both academically and personally.

Outside of education, Tetsu enjoys watching sports, collecting sports trading cards, and reading manga in Japanese.
